On November 14th, 2021, the project No.
LV-RU-008 “630 Versts Full of Feelings/Versts of Feelings,” supported by the
Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, came to a close. This
cross-border initiative aimed to create a new tourism experience, offering
visitors the chance to explore 630 versts full of feelings. The route developed
through the project connects various sites that provide a range of sensory
experiences, allowing visitors to feel, participate, engage, enjoy, and
discover the unique border tourism offering. It highlights the interaction of
history, nature, and people over the centuries. Members of the Latvian Castle
and Manor Association – including Litene Manor, Varakļāni Manor Castle,
Krāslava Manor, Lūznava Manor, Preiļi Manor Castle Complex, and Arendole Manor
– contributed to the project by enhancing the existing tourism offer and
emphasizing the special sensations visitors can experience at each location.
