Artivism - let’s see beyond your nose!
From September 7th to 15th, the NGO For Active
Society in cooperation with Luznava Manor is organizing and hosting the international Erasmus+
training “Seeing Beyond Your Nose”. During this time, the venue will transform
into a creative space where people, ideas, and art from all across Europe meet.
Youth workers, educators, and artists from
Latvia, Turkey, Italy, Serbia, Romania, Portugal, Germany and Ireland are
spending a week by exploring Artivism - the fusion of art and activism by using
creative expressions like movement, dance improvisation and performance to
empower young people, help them explore social issues, challenge stereotypes,
and foster critical thinking and active participation.
Inspiring young
people to 'see beyond their nose'—to look beyond themselves and become more
aware of, and engaged with, the world around them.
The training is led by experienced non-formal
education trainers Ilze Zirina and Ieva Grundšteine, coordinated by Iveta Balčūne.
NGO For Active Society and Luznava Manor open the
doors to Europe’s artistic energy, ideas, and creativity.
